Well...the carnival is over...and I have to admit it wasn't as lively as I pictured it to be. It was a rather dull affair and I was having mixed feelings the whole time. It just felt like a whole plate of feelings mixed together and laid out...like a plate of 'rojak'?? Hehe...
The pleasant part of the carnival was:
1) I can always look at it as a learning process and also as an experience gained.
2) Working together with 2 wonderful ladies...and...
3) 2 delightful kids from Canada...Zarinah and Micah...and their aunt...who really made my day *winks*

...Now for the disappointing/dull part: There didn't seem to be much advertising done on the part of the club which might have been the reason for the almost dead crowd!!!
1) There was ONE lone banner outside the club, which I don't think anyone could have read properly unless they walked directly pass it, provided they even stop to read the banner.
2) It seemed quite dead except for the slight stream of club members and maybe a bit of the outside crowd.
3) The only major crowd seemed to be that of students who were bundled into some hall upstairs for some kind of brainy competition, the majority of whom seemed to have not come down to the carnival level at all. Haiz...
However, looking at it from the optimistic point of view, a lesson learnt and an experience gained is valuable, no matter whether it is rich or poor...and so it shall remain. =)
*I am just waiting to receive the photos that were taken at the carnival. The photos will be uploaded asap after receiving them.
Meanwhile... Adios!!
